Volume 5 (Second Series): José Saramago

This volume of the Santa Barbara Portuguese Studies was prepared by Burghard Baltrush, Chair of the Cátedra Internacional José Saramago, at the University of Vigo, Spain, with the collaboration of Antía Monteagudo Alonso, doctoral candidate at the same Institution. We would like to thank them for having brought together this volume, an impressive collection of articles, offering refreshing and pathbreaking reflections on the Nobel Prize winner, José Saramago (1922-2010).  June 18, 2020 marks ten years of his death. This volume was put together in his remembrance.
